Specialized property programs are specifically tailored to the requirements of teenagers, expectant or postpartum females as well as their dependent children, those under guidance by the criminal justice system, or public inebriates for whom substantial treatment has not functioned (American Psychiatric Association, 1995; Landry, 1996). Extensive outpatient therapy calls for a minimum of 9 hours of weekly attendance, generally in increments of 3 to 8 hrs a day for 5 to 7 days a week.
